What you should know about reserving a room for use
- Available rooms may be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis up to 1 week in advance
- Rooms are reserved, and used, for up to 2 hours per day
- Users may extend their time by 1 hour provided no one else has made a reservation
- Reserved rooms will be held for 10 minutes past the time reserved, and then will be made available to the next patron in line
- A group reservation is made under one name only, and other members of the group may not make a reservation to gain more than two hours of reserved time
- Users must be aged 10 and above
- Study rooms must be vacated 15 minutes before library closing time
- Internet access is available in the room but connection to Wi-Fi is not secure
How to be a considerate user of the study room
The study rooms are not soundproof. Study room users are asked to be aware of their volume levels and to keep their voices down if they are in a group or using a cell phone. Users will agree to abide by the library’s Code of Conduct and will be asked to leave if they disturb others or engage in otherwise inappropriate behavior.
Please leave the study room tidy by placing waste items in the trash. Please take all personal belongings upon leaving the study rooms.
